1. What documents do I need to rent a car?

You will need: 

A copy of your valid license

Proof of insurance, if applicable. 

Bank card for the initial payment. 

**You have the option of using cash/Venmo/Cashapp for the deposit. If you are booking more than five days in advance, a deposit is needed. There is a $50 cancellation fee. 

Proof of address by mail or utility bill is needed for cash in hand payments.

2. Is there a minimum age requirement for renting a car?

You have to be 21 and older to rent our vehicles with no restrictions. Luxury vehicles you will need to be 25 years old or older.

Under 21 yr old renters will have a geo fence boundaries set for the vehicle rented, you will have to stay within a 60 mile radius.

3. How are rental rates calculated?

Rates are usually based on factors like the type of vehicle, rental duration, and any optional add-ons like insurance or GPS. Rates are calculated per day.

4. What insurance options are available?

Common options include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Liability Insurance, and Personal Accident Insurance.

5. Can I rent a car with a debit card?

Legendary Car Rentals accepts debit cards, but they may have specific requirements or hold additional funds. Credit cards are generally preferred.

6. Is there a mileage limit?

Each vehicle has a different mileage limit check with an agent for the vehicle of your choice.

7. What's the fuel policy?

You need to return the car with a full tank or if there’s a  charge of $45.

8. Can I cross state or country borders with the rental car?

Please check and inform the rental company beforehand. Some fees will apply if you are leaving the country.

9. What happens if the car breaks down?

We have local preferred partners that can assist if you break down locally. You will be responsible for tire changes and/or gas deliveries. Our office still needs to be informed of any incident. We need the contact info for the company servicing the roadside assistance.

10. How does the return process work?

The vehicle will be returned to the same location it was dropped off to, if other accommodations are needed. Please call 24 hours in advance.

If the vehicle is returned, more than two hours late, you will be charged an additional day. Please keep in mind that the vehicle may have an upcoming reservation, each car needs to be checked, refilled with gas if needed and cleaned.
